The 2010 COLEMANVISION TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS, Presented by Corley's Lincoln Mercy Volvo, a USTA Pro Circuit Event, are returning to Albuquerque September 19th through September 26th, 2010! Some of the rising stars in Women's Professional tennis will be playing at Tanoan Country Club. The tournament again benefits the New Mexico Youth Tennis Foundation ("NMYTF"), a tax exempt organization. The NMYTF supports after-school tennis programs throughout New Mexico, helping provide education and opportunity to NM youth through tennis.

General Admission will be free on Sunday, September 19th, the first day of the tournament. This "Great Day for Tennis in New Mexico" will include a free Senior QuickStart Tennis Clinic for seniors 55+ and a Mid-School Tennis League Clinic---giving area senior players and mid-school players a chance to learn from some of the best. Touring pros will team up with the University of New Mexico Women's Tennis Team for these fun and free on-court events. Details and ticket information are available at www.colemanvision.com. Elementary students will be bused to the tournament on Tuesday and Thursday, September 21st and 23rd. Our Kids' Days are held on site at the tournament to give area students the opportunity to interact with these up and coming young players and to have the chance to give tennis a try.

In 2009 over 1000 young New Mexico students had the opportunity to attend the tournament and be exposed to world class tennis up close and personal! Some of the comments from the young elementary students from Mary Ann Binford ES to their principal:
